Reddamma Talli Temple is located on Reddammakonda(hill) Cherlopalle Village of Gurramkonda Mandal, Chittore District. This is the maximum well-known temple in Chittore District. As in line with the legends, a pair Rami Reddy and Nagamma in a village Ellampalli, close to Gurramkonda. The couple blessed with 2 sons and 1 daughter’s named as “Reddamma”. The Nawab of the place noticed her and ordered to his team of workers to get her.She tried to get away from them and ran away to a hill aspect. She prayed to Lord Shiva and Parvathi to keep her. Then a shiny light regarded inside the sky and crack the hill which absorbed infantrymen and Reddamma. One soldier informs his count number to the Nawab and they left the region. Reddamma mother and father have been dreamed about her toddler wherein she is. Reddamma advised in their dream had been about her. Next day the whole village reached the hill and saw the Goddess who manifested herself near the hill. Since from that day, the human beings of this vicinity commenced worshipping the goddess as Reddemma Talli. All these has befell 300 years ago.Since from three hundred years, Goddess Reddemma talli had been getting pooja's here by many devotees daily.
